The Peppers Silo Hotel in Launceston has recently opened its doors and is now renowned for being the tallest building in the city. Standing at nine-stories with 108 guest rooms, restaurant, café and conference rooms, the new hotel was redeveloped of the four Kings Wharf grain silos at North Bank.
ARTAS Architects was appointed to architecturally design the luxury hotel and the fitout. Interior features consisted of repurposed timber from the existing site to create a rustic and industrial look and feel for the hotel, with a modern twist of subtle colours.
Ontera design team were heavily involved in developing a custom design carpet based on the Patina Vibes collection with a premium comfort plus base, spanning 2000m2. Timeless and neutral tones of grey were used throughout the tenancy with accents of orange to distinguish rooms which complimented the hotel’s design elements and luxury caliber.
